CBP to Launch Solicitation for Program, Project & Engineering Services Contract

The Department of Homeland Security’s Customs and Border Protection will award an up to $100 million contract using the General Services Administration’s One Acquisition Solution for Integrated Services vehicle for Small Business Pool 1 to procure program, project and engineering services.

According to an Acquisition Planning Forecast System posting, CBP’s Office of Facilities and Asset Management is in need of professional support for conducting plan development, evaluation, construction, sustainment, maintenance and disposal of projects and real property.

Services cover architectural and engineering; communications; construction, energy and project management; environmental and real estate services; financial and business support; program oversight; training; and workforce strategy.

CBP expects to release a competitive solicitation for the recompete PPES contract by March 2024, with efforts scheduled to run through July 2029.

SD Solutions, though its Federal Mission Solutions Joint Venture, is the current PPES contractor. It provides OFAM and Border Patrol and Air Marine Program Management Office with services to support management of real property and assets.

DHS and CBP leaders are among the key speakers at the Potomac Officers Club’s 2023 Homeland Security Summit on Nov. 15. Register here for the in-person event.
