Spectrum Enterprise Seeks to Meet Federal Clients’ Tech Needs via AOC Connect Partnership

Spectrum Enterprise, a Charter Communications (Nasdaq: CHTR) business and a provider of networking, fiber technology and managed services, has signed a strategic partnership agreement with AOC Connect to further expand its offerings to support the technology requirements of federal government customers.

AOC Connect acquired Charter Communications’ minority stake in Core Technologies as part of the partnership, Charter said Monday.

Core Technologies is a woman-owned business and holds a spot on the General Services Administration’s Enterprise Infrastructure Services contract vehicle for telecommunications services.

AOC Connect is well-known among federal agencies since it has been servicing their technology needs on a number of contracting vehicles for more than two decades,” said Anthony Wellen, vice president of federal at Spectrum Enterprise.

Wellen said combining Spectrum Enterprise’s network, cloud, data, video, voice and other information technology platforms with AOC Connect’s understanding of federal operations will enable the delivery of transformational platforms needed to support agency missions.

Chantilly, Virginia-based AOC Connect is owned by asset management firm JLC Infrastructure and is focused on delivering digital communications platforms to government customers through OSI Layer 4.
