Bell Boeing Secures $482M Award to Build More Navy CMV-22B Tiltrotor Aircraft

A partnership between Boeing (NYSE: BA) and Textron‘s (NYSE: TXT) Bell subsidiary booked a three-year, $482.3 million contract modification to manufacture additional CMV-22B Osprey aircraft for the U.S. Navy.

The fixed-price-incentive award expands the scope of Bell Boeing Joint Project Office’s existing contract to supply four more units of the military tiltrotor platform, the Department of Defense announced Friday.

Work will occur in various locations within and outside the continental United States, including Texas, New York, Pennsylvania and Utah.

Naval Air Systems Command acted as the contracting activity and will obligate $213.8 million in fiscal 2023 aircraft procurement funds on the award.
