Army Seeks Comment on Proposed Aerial ISR Sensor Development, Lifecycle Support IDIQ

The U.S. Army has given industry a preview of a potential 10-year contract to provide development and deployment support and lifecycle services for aerial intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance sensors and integrated systems.

A presolicitation notice published Friday states that the proposed Development, Integration, Acquisition, Bridging to Logistics & Operations contract will support the project director sensors-aerial intelligence and its portfolio of electro-optical/infrared, signals intelligence, synthetic aperture radar/ground moving target indicators, geospatial intelligence, measurement and signature intelligence and air launched effects electronic warfare and cyber effects platforms.

The DIABLO effort will also cover operations, sustainment and depot repair support to enable PD SAI and its systems portfolio to maintain agility and address the service branch’s modernization goals.

Interested offerors seeking to receive controlled unclassified information and export controlled attachments from Army Contracting Command should submit proof of compliance with the International Traffic in Arms Regulation and sign a nondisclosure agreement and a compliance certification.

Comments, recommendations and questions related to the draft request for proposals are due on May 26.
