CAES Acquires Herley in RF Tech Market Expansion Push; Mike Kahn Quoted

CAES has expanded its portfolio of capabilities and presence in the radio frequency technology market with the acquisition of Herley.

Herley designs and produces microwave electronic products for electronic warfare assemblies, missile flight instrumentation platforms and other tactical RF systems for defense and aerospace industry customers and has facilities in Massachusetts, New Jersey and Pennsylvania, CAES said Monday.

CAES purchased Herley from Ultra Electronics, which is now part of Cobham.
