Michael Ruppert Joins ManTech as EVP, CFO; Matt Tait Quoted

Michael Ruppert, former executive vice president, chief financial officer and treasurer at Mercury Systems (Nasdaq: MRCY), has been named EVP and CFO of ManTech.

The company said Tuesday Ruppert will report directly to President and CEO Matt Tait and oversee corporate development, financial and treasury functions.

“With more than 20 years of experience in finance for private and public companies, Mike will provide strong leadership, expertise and insight to the role of CFO at ManTech,” said Tait, a 2023 Wash100 awardee.

Ruppert departed aerospace and defense electronics supplier Mercury Systems on Feb. 17 after an eight-year career that includes five years as its finance chief.

He previously worked with clients in the aerospace, defense and government services markets through his positions at RSPartners, UBS Securities, Lehman Brothers and Lazard Freres.
