Cydecor has purchased InnovaSystems International for an undisclosed sum as part of efforts to expand its technical capabilities and client base in the defense and national security market.
The combined entity aims to offer database development, software engineering, user experience architecture, business intelligence and analytics services to help existing and new customers advance the National Defense Strategy, Cydecor said.
San Diego-based InnovaSystems develops software platforms meant to streamline access to critical military data to facilitate decision-making in support of defense readiness programs and has supported the U.S. Air Force, U.S. Navy, U.S. Space Force and other defense customers through prime contracts.
“InnovaSystems deepens our software development expertise and puts Cydecor at the forefront of defense readiness as a leading solutions provider for national security technology,” said Nader Elguindi, president and CEO of Cydecor.
Cydecor is a veteran-owned business in Crystal City, Virginia, that offers technology platforms such as infrastructure and cloud, software development, data and analytics, cyber, mission support, business systems and consulting support to national security and defense agencies.
Raymond James and Associates and Holland & Knight acted as investment banking adviser and legal counsel, respectively, to InnovaSystems. Pillsbury Winthrop Shaw Pittman served as Cydecor’s legal adviser in the transaction.
