MetroStar Wins $155M Contract to Support Marine Corps Business Info Systems

Metrostar has won a five-year, $155 million contract to help a U.S. Marine Corps organization manage business information systems.

The Reston, Virginia-based company will provide support services to USMC’s Technology Services Organization under the single-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract, the Department of Defense announced Monday.

The Marine Corps Installations Command Headquarters Contracting Office in Virginia received three proposals for the support requirement through a competitive solicitation on SAM.gov.

USMC will obligate $5.9 million at the time of award and disburse subsequent funds on a task order basis.

The service TSO develops and maintains enterprise-grade information technology systems intended for the management of business processes such as accounting, human resources and budgeting.
