CACI to Deliver Satellite Terminals to DARPA for Blackjack Program; Todd Probert Quoted

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 15, 2022 — CACI International (NYSE: CACI) is now tasked to provide the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency with 40 optical communications terminals for inter-satellite links under a $16.3 million contract, ExecutiveBiz reported.

The deal in support of DARPA’s Blackjack program was awarded to SA Photonics, which was acquired by CACI in December.

Todd Probert, president of National Security And Innovative Solutions at CACI and a two-time Wash100 awardee, said the contractor aims to have an annual production rate of several hundreds of optical terminals by boosting the manufacturing capabilities of its Florida facilities.
