The Data Innovation Forum presented elite and influential leaders discussing the DOD’s defense data strategy, analytics, artificial intelligence and developing data processing technologies.

David Spirk, chief data officer of the Department of Defense, delivered the Forum’s keynote address. Spirk, a 2021 Wash100 Award recipient, discussed the DOD’s defense data strategy and data management priorities. Gregg Melanson, EVP and GM of Illuminate Mission Solutions, introduced Spirk before his address.

The Forum hosted an expert panel moderated by Randy Soper of Illuminate Mission Solutions, featuring Chris Borneman of Software AG Government Solutions, Thomas Sasala of the U.S. Navy, Ron Bewtra of the U.S. Department of JusticeEileen Vidrine of the U.S. Air Force and Dr. David Markowitz of the U.S. Army.

The Forum’s keynote address and insightful panel discussion on data innovation technologies and goals are essential listening for anyone aiming to be up to date on the newest initiatives and  breaking news in the defense and information technology sectors.
