Tim Hays, most recently president of consulting firm Health Sciences Group, has been named vice president of health information technology at Woodbridge, Virginia-based IT services contractor Sev1Tech.
Sev1Tech said Wednesday that Hays will report directly to CEO Robert Lohfeld and oversee business development, proposal and strategic efforts for the health IT segment.
His career also includes time at JCS Solutions, ValidaTek, Digital Management Inc. and Attain.
He has more than three decades of professional experience in the areas of health IT, government acquisition, program management, data analytics, biomedical research and neuroscience.
