Greg Wenzel, Booz Allen EVP, to Moderate Panel at Potomac Officers Club’s Future Virtual Battlefield Event on July 22nd

Greg Wenzel, who leads the Army business as executive vice president of Booz Allen Hamilton, will moderate the panel at Potomac Officers Club’s Future Virtual Battlefield Event on Wednesday, July 22nd.

Wenzel's primary focus with Booz Allen is to help the Army transform and modernize by integrating digital, analytic, cyber and engineering services and solutions to warfighters. He previously led the company’s Strategic Innovation Group (SIG) Digital Solutions initiative focused on transforming Booz Allen Systems Delivery into a modern Digital Solutions provider. 

He and his teams have delivered modular agile solutions that integrate deep understanding of mission and systems development with the latest technologies in social, mobile, and cloud computing. Wenzel has a proven track record applying emerging technologies, such as cloud computing and service-oriented architecture, to design, develop and deliver large-scale, enterprise systems to address transformational business and mission needs. 

Wenzel has deep understanding in the Department of Defense (DoD) C4ISR mission area and enterprise integration leveraging API design and management. He is also a specialist in distributed computing solutions and has worked with the intelligence community, tactical warfighting and commercial web-based systems as well as advanced distributed simulation.

At Potomac Officers Club’s Future Virtual Battlefield Event, Wenzel will utilize his knowledge acquired from his career in technology and defense to discuss the priorities and challenges of modern warfare and moderate the panel of experts from the industry and federal divisions. 

The panelists will include: Scott Gilman, deputy director of the U.S. Army Modeling and Simulation Office (AMSO); Favio Lopez, chief operations officer with Trideum; and Eric Weisel with Virginia Modeling, Analysis & Simulation Center at Old Dominion University (ODU); and Michael Enloe with Army Futures Command.
