TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 8, 2020 — ECS secured a contract from the U.S. Navy's Naval Information Warfare Center to help the Defense Health Agency merge legacy clinical data into a cloud-based information technology system, ExecutiveBiz reported June 30.

The company said June 29 it will build a data consolidation technology prototype that would archive historical patient records from systems to be replaced by the MHS Genesis electronic health records platform.

"ECS is excited to support NIWC and DHA in this effort, helping to improve continuity of care while providing significant cost savings for DHA and its stakeholders," said George Wilson, president of ECS and 2020 Wash100 awardee.
