The U.S. Air Force has awarded five companies positions on a potential 10-year, $950M contract to provide equipment and product and training support to the branch's special warfare operations.
Seventeen offers were submitted to the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center for the multiple-award, indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract via a competitive acquisition process, the Department of Defense said Friday.
Contractors will support 3,500 operators and authorized users of special warfare platforms through the IDIQ.
The branch will obligate $2K on the initial order for each contractor.
