Mac Curtis, president and CEO of Perspecta as well as a six-time Wash100 Award recipient, has been appointed the company’s chairman August 5, 2020, Perspecta announced on Wednesday.

Curtis will succeed Mike Lawrie, Perspecta’s chairman since the company’s launch in 2018, who announced on Wednesday that he would be retiring from the board effective on Aug. 5th.

CACI International has received a potential 10-year, $1.5 billion contract to provide information technology assistance to the National Geospatial-Intelligence Agency (NGA) and its partners as part of efforts to fortify NGA’s cybersecurity posture, the company reported on Thursday.

The single-award indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity (IDIQ) contract will support enterprise IT and network support at agency facilities in Virginia, Missouri and international locations. CACI will also provide technical support for a catalog system intended to help NGA simplify its process of procuring IT services and materials.

“This record award demonstrates CACI is delivering on its strategy to win larger, more enduring contracts, said John Mengucci, president, chief executive officer of CACI and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient.

“It also represents our steadfast commitment to protecting and defending our nation’s networks so the NGA can deliver mission-critical geospatial intelligence to the warfighter around the globe.”

Jill Singer, five-time Wash100 Award recipient and GovCon Expert, has been named vice president of Defense and National Security for AT&T’s Public Sector and FirstNet.

As vice president of the Defense and National Security Segment, Singer will focus on leading teams to bring strategic technology solutions and services to defense and national security agencies throughout the global public sector marketplace.

AT&T has helped the Department of Defense (DoD) and Intelligence Community (IC) execute their missions by leveraging the company’s advanced technologies to deliver secure solutions, accelerate innovation, modernize networks, advance cyber security, optimize operations and transform mobility.

Singer has also served as vice president of National Security with AT&T’s Global Public Sector since 2015. In the role, Singer leads business across the national security community and oversees delivery of AT&T’s strategic technology solutions and services to national security agencies throughout the Federal marketplace.

Katherine Arrington, chief information security officer (CISO) for the Office of the Under Secretary of Defense for Acquisition (OUSDA) of U.S. Department of Defense (DoD) and a 2020 Wash100 Award recipient, will be the keynote speaker during Potomac Officers Club’s (POC) CMMC Virtual Forum 2020 on Wednesday, June 24th.

Arrington will provide crucial insight into cybersecurity technology with the DoD to discuss the CMMC’s timeline, how the certification process could change and will provide a memorandum of understanding with a newly established CMMC accrediting body.
