Ted Davies, CEO of Altamira Technologies and previous Wash100 winner, has been appointed vice chair of the Industry Advisory Council, FCW reported Monday.

He will replace Tony Scott, who stepped down on Sept. 9 from his position at the industry part of the American Council for Technology – IAC, a nonprofit public-private partnership in the government technology sector. Scott is former federal chief information officer and a previous Wash100 awardee.

IAC Chairman Paul Strasser said he appointed Davies, who will assume the role of chairman of IAC once his term as vice chair concludes, in accordance with the council’s bylaws.

Davies assumed his current role at Altamira in 2014 after he served as president of Unisys’ (NYSE: UIS) federal systems business. Prior to Unisys, he spent 17 years at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH), where he served as a partner responsible for cross-agency service offerings.

He serves as a member of the IAC executive committee and previously led ACT-IAC’s executive collaboration forum.
