L3 Technologies (NYSE: LLL) has won a potential $499.6M contract to update the avionics system of C-130H airlifters operated by Air National Guard and Air Force Reserve Command.

USAF received six offers for the fixed-price-incentive-firm contract covering production, training and logistics support work on 176 C-130Hs, the Department of Defense said Tuesday.

The service branch will initially provide $37.4M at the time of award from its fiscal 2019 research, development, test and evaluation funds.

Contract work will primarily take place in Waco, Texas, and is projected to be complete by Sept. 30, 2029.
