In her new role, she will work with the company’s senior executives and investment professionals in efforts to drive its legislative and regulatory efforts, Carlyle said Wednesday.
Before she joined the investment firm in 2016, she was vice president of corporate public policy at Boeing (NYSE: BA).
Her government career has included time as a policy adviser in the Office of the Republican Leader and Office of the Majority Leader. She helped develop regulations and rulings at the Department of Labor’s Employee Benefits Security Administration.
She holds a juris doctorate from Catholic University of America and practiced law in D.C.
