TYSONS CORNER, VA, January 15, 2018 — ECS will utilize search company Elastic’s open source and software-as-a-service platforms in an effort to supplement the information technology provider’s big data offerings, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The partnership aims to build on the data security, monitoring, reporting and machine learning capabilities of federal civilian, defense and commercial customers using open source technology, ECS said Wednesday.

George Wilson, president of ECS and a Wash100 awardee, noted that customers are increasingly turning to open source as they seek to drive greater returns on their investment.
