Savneet Singh Appointed PAR Technology Interim President, CEO

Savneet Singh

Savneet Singh, a board member at PAR Technology (NYSE: PAR), has been appointed president and CEO of the New Hartford, N.Y.-based tech platforms provider on an acting basis.

Singh’s appointment took effect on Dec. 4 after Donald Foley stepped down from his roles as CEO, president and director, PAR said Thursday.

“We are pleased to have an executive of Savneet’s caliber lead the company during this interim period and expect his technology and business experience will ensure a smooth transition period,” said Cynthia Russo, lead independent director at PAR.

The company’s board has begun the search for a permanent CEO through the assistance of its current executive search firm.

Singh has been a partner of CoVenture since June and sits on the boards of Blockchain Power Trust, EcoLogic Solutions, LottoGopher Holdings and Produce Pay.

He previously served as managing partner of Tera-Holdings and co-founded Gold Bullion International, where he also served as CEO, president and chief operating officer.

PAR’s government arm is based in Rome, N.Y., and provides software, systems engineering and other technical support related to light detection and ranging, raster and motion imagery and geospatial data assurance for defense, federal, local and state agencies.
