General Dynamics Land Systems Selected as Platform Integrator for Army IM-SHORAD Program


TYSONS CORNER, VA, July 2, 2018 — General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) land systems business is set to serve as the platform integrator for the U.S. Army’s Interim Maneuver Short-Range Air Defense system to be developed around the company’s Stryker combat vehicle, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

General Dynamics Land Systems will integrate mission equipment packages from Leonardo DRS with the Stryker platform to create IM-SHORAD prototypes, which are aimed to fill a capability gap in the European theater, Defense News reported Thursday.
