Accenture: Majority of Aerospace & Defense Companies Plan Blockchain Adoption by 2021


TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 14, 2018 — Accenture (NYSE: ACN) has found in a study that 86 percent of aerospace and defense companies intend to apply blockchain technologies into their corporate systems over the next three years, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the “Launchpad to Relevance: Aerospace & Defense Technology Vision 2018” report is based on a survey of 30 A&D industry experts and shows potential applications for blockchain, such as in the discovery of falsified information and verification of data, as respondents projected an increase in the volume of manipulated insights.
