Lockheed Martin Ships Final 2 Japan-Based USAF Super Hercules Cargo Planes


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 3, 2018 — Lockheed Martin (NYSE: LMT) has delivered the final two C-130J-30 Super Hercules military transport aircraft that will be based at the U.S. Air Force‘s Yokota Air Base in Japan in support of several regional operations, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

The company said Tuesday the 36th Airlift Squadron at Yokota will use the nine deployed Super Hercules for operations such as aeromedical services, airdrop, cargo delivery and troop transport in the Western Pacific.
