General Dynamics Land Systems Secures Army Abrams Tech Support Contract Modification

TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 2, 2018 — General Dynamics’ (NYSE: GD) land systems business has received a one-year, $61.2 million contract modification to provide technical support for the U.S. Army’s Abrams battle tank systems, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The Defense Department said Wednesday work under the contract modification, which is funded via the service branch’s fiscal 2018 research, development, test and evaluation; working capital; and aviation procurement budget, will run through March 31, 2019.
