General Atomics Unit Concludes Pre-Flight Tests on Orbital Test Bed Satellite


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 25, 2018 — A business unit of General Atomics has completed tests on the Orbital Test Bed satellite platform ahead of its launch aboard a SpaceX Falcon Heavy rocket to perform on-orbit demonstrations of various hosted technologies, ExecutiveBiz reported Tuesday.

General Atomics Electromagnetic Systems conducted full-system pre-flight tests on the modular low-Earth orbit test bed in preparation for the U.S. Air Force‘s Space Technology Program – 2 mission, the company said Monday.
