Booz Allen’s New Public Charity to Promote Community Resilience Via Technology


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 20, 2018 — Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) has created a new charitable institution committed to encourage stakeholders to solve social challenges and reinforce community resilience through innovation and technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The firm gave an initial $5 million pledge to back Booz Allen Foundation’s mission across public health, military veteran services, youth and education, Booz Allen said Wednesday.

“Establishing an independent foundation to complement our ongoing corporate philanthropy is a great way to widen the circle and apply smart minds and advanced technology to build more resilient communities,” stated Horacio Rozanski, president and CEO of Booz Allen.
