Boeing Receives Contract to Integrate Flight Trainer Software Updates to Naval Aircraft


TYSONS CORNER, VA, April 23, 2018 — The U.S. Navy has granted Boeing (NYSE: BA) an $18.8 million, cost-plus-fixed-fee delivery order to embed Tactical Operational Flight Trainer sensor software updates to the service branch’s F/A-18E/F and EA-18G aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The Chicago, Illinois-based technology company will also identify requirements, install updated software, supply complementary spare parts and carry out other related services under the delivery order, the Defense Department said Thursday.

Work will be performed in Texas, Missouri, California, Florida, Maryland, Washington, Virginia and Japan through July 2021.
