General Atomics to Build Reaper Aviation Simulation Tech for Air-to-Air Missiles


TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 14, 2018 — A General Atomics business unit is anticipated to receive a contract from the U.S. Air Force for an air-to-air missile aviation simulation technology in support of the MQ-9 Reaper remotely piloted aircraft, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The Air Force said in a FedBizOpps notice it aims for General Atomics Aeronautical Systems Inc. to develop the AVSIM technology under the planned sole-source contract with the Air Force Life Cycle Management Center’s medium-altitude unmanned aircraft system division.
