AWS Gov’t Cloud Platform an Instrument in Raytheon’s National Defense Work


TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 26, 2018 — Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) has utilized Amazon Web Services‘ cloud platform for government customers to help accelerate tests on information technology systems and comply with security requirements, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

AWS said Thursday Raytheon was able to reduce testing time using an AWS GovCloud (US)-based DevOps approach as well as provision and scale network, storage and computing resources on demand in line with the needs of national defense customers.
