AT&T to Deploy Spectrum Allotted for FirstNet Public Safety Network

TYSONS CORNER, VA, March 9, 2018 — AT&T (NYSE: T) will begin to field the Band 14 spectrum to first responders as it aims to deliver a national public safety broadband network under a task order from the First Responder Network Authority, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

FirstNet said Wednesday the company will deploy the dedicated public safety spectrum to statewide radio access networks in support of the buildout and network coverage expansion for the program.
