Symantec Earns FedRAMP Authorization for Email Security Service

TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 15, 2018 — Symantec (Nasdaq: SYMC) has secured certification for its cloud-based email security service offering for government agencies under the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program, ExecutiveBiz reported Wednesday.

Chris Townsend, vice president pf Symantec’s federal business, wrote in a blog entry posted Tuesday that the Symantec Email Security Service – Government serves to support inbound and outbound messaging with security features against ransomware, spear phishing and other threats.
