BAE Systems Lands Navy Ship Repair, Maintenance Work on USS Pearl Harbor


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Feb. 9, 2018 — BAE Systems will perform repairs, maintenance and updates on the U.S. Navy‘s USS Pearl Harbor under a potential $36.3 million contract for the dock landing ship’s restricted availability in fiscal year 2018, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

The Defense Department said Wednesday the company’s San Diego-based ship repair business will work on Harpers Ferry-class USS Pearl Harbor through May 2019 with initial funds of $34.1 million.
