Raytheon, University of Arizona Work to Drive Native-American Student Interest in STEM


TYSONS CORNER, VA, Jan. 2, 2018 — A Raytheon (NYSE: RTN) employee resource group is collaborating with the University of Arizona on a program that seeks to provide science, technology, engineering and math mentorship to Native-American students, GovCon Executive reported Thursday.

The company said Dec. 19 the Raytheon American Indian Network entered into a partnership with UA’s Native SOAR program to facilitate monthly workshops with Raytheon employees and hands-on activities for students interested in potential STEM careers.
