KBR‘s (NYSE: KBR) government services unit has received a $91 million contract to deliver support services for Naval Facilities Engineering Command Atlantic base operations in Bahrain and the United Arab Emirates.
The company announced Tuesday the contract awarded to KBRwyle covers housing, unarmed security, equipment maintenance, utilities, waste management, custodial, material handling, personnel movement and other services.
Completion of work is expected within eight years if NAVFAC Atlantic employs all options.
The contract builds on KBRwyle’s ongoing base operating support services work with the U.S. Navy to reach approximately $1 billion in total value.
KBR has previously provided support to Navy base operations in Diego Garcia and Djibouti and is currently supporting Isa Air Base in Bahrain.
