Aerospace Corp.has received an $860.6 contract modification from the U.S. Air Force to continue to help the national space community engineer and integrate systems.
The Defense Departmentsaid Friday the modification exercises the fourth option year under a previously awarded contract and extends contractor services through fiscal year 2018.
Work under the exercised option is scheduled to finish by Sept. 30, 2018.
El Segundo, California-based Aerospace provides research, development and consultancy services to national security space programs as well as operates a federally funded R&D center for the Air Forces Space and Missile Systems Center and the National Reconnaissance Office.
