TYSONS CORNER, VA, June 6, 2017 — SAP National Security Services (NYSE: SAP) has entered into a strategic partnership with CounterTack to integrate technologies and develop an endpoint security tool for the government and commercial sector, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

CounterTack said Wednesday its Endpoint Threat Platform will utilize the SAP HANA in-memory database engine and analysis engines to perform behavioral analysis, machine learning and reputational techniques in an effort to counter security threats.

“The demands on cybersecurity teams today are intense, and the ability to detect and remediate threats rapidly means high-availability data across large, highly distributed environments,” said Mark Testoni, president and CEO of SAP NS2.
