Kevin Robinson, CEO and president of MTSI, said in a statement released Tuesday that the move to a full employee-owned structure seeks to help MTSI maintain a business model in support of employees and clients as well as realize the vision of founders Phil Soucy and Tom McMahon to form an independent firm that works to address “problems of global importance.”

MTSI has approximately 730 employees and operates 20 offices and field sites across the U.S. and abroad.

Established in 1993, the company works to provide technology platforms and engineering support for commercial, defense and intelligence community agencies in the areas of cybersecurity, missile defense, unmanned systems, space, homeland security and aviation.
