IBM, Raytheon BBN Study Quantum Computing Advantage


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 5, 2017 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) and Raytheon‘s (NYSE: RTN) BBN Technologies subsidiary have collaborated to verify the difference in performance between a standard computer and quantum computer, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.

Their joint study published in the Nature Quantum Information journal focused on the “quantum advantage in machine learning” and utilized technologies from both companies, IBM said Wednesday.
