IBM Adds 4 New US Cloud Data Centers in Push for Service Expansion


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 1, 2017 — IBM (NYSE: IBM) has launched four additional cloud data centers with two each in Washington, D.C., and Dallas, Texas, as the company works to expand its global cloud footprint and support demand for cloud infrastructure, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The company said Wednesday the new U.S. data centers will serve as platform for services in the areas of blockchain, Internet of Things, quantum computing and cognitive computing.
