General Dynamics to Provide IT, Cyber Support to Naval Meteorology & Oceanography Command


TYSONS CORNER, VA, May 2, 2017 — A General Dynamics (NYSE: GD) business unit will provide cybersecurity and information technology support to the Naval Meteorology and Oceanography Command under a potential $52 million contract from the U.S. Navy, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

The Defense Department said Thursday the contract with General Dynamics Information Technology covers areas such as IT architecture and engineering, subject-matter expertise on meteorology and oceanography IT and geospatial information systems, program management and IT portfolio management.
