DLA Taps AECOM Subsidiary for $75M Warehousing, Distribution Services Contract

URS Federal Services, an AECOM (NYSE: ACM) subsidiary, has secured a potential $75 million contract from the Defense Logistics Agency to provide warehousing and distribution support services.

The Defense Department said Friday URS Federal Services won the five-year, hybrid contract through a competitive acquisition program that drew three bids.

DLA’s distribution unit will obligate defense working capital funds for work to be performed in Maryland and Utah through April 30, 2022.

Germantown, Maryland-based URS Federal Support Services offers logistics support, maintenance, modification, operations, overhaul, systems integration and training services in the government and commercial markets.
