Executive Mosaic, Tysons Corner, VA March 24, 2017 — Nadia Short, vice president of enterprise strategy at General Dynamics‘ mission systems business, has been added to this year’s Executive Mosaic Wash100 for her leadership in strategic planning.

The Wash100 is the premier group of private and public sector executives selected by Executive Mosaic’s organizational and editorial leadership as the most influential voices in the GovCon sector and recognized for their leadership and impact in shaping the industry.

Short is in charge of strategic planning and alignment efforts at General Dynamics Mission Systems, the result of a combination of the company’s former advanced information systems and C4 systems operations.

The business unit unveiled its Bluefin SandShark autonomous underwater vehicle offering for defense, science and commercial customers in January as part of its intelligence, surveillance and reconnaissance portfolio.

GDMS also offers direct fiber optic network connections for the Sectera vIPer universal phone to facilitate secure voice and data communications.

It currently provides program management and system maintenance support for the U.S. Coast Guard’s Rescue 21 command, control and communications platform for search-and-rescue operations under a potential $125.6 million follow-on contract awarded in October.

When introducing this year’s Wash100, Executive Mosaic President and Founder Jim Garrettson said, “We are pleased to honor this year’s recipients. These individuals are recognized by their peers and Executive Mosaic for their outstanding achievements in the GovCon marketplace.”

“The GovCon market is well positioned for an exciting year of growth and prosperity in 2017 and these winners, through their leadership and vision, will shape and impact the industry.”
