HII Names 8 New Execs to Technical Solutions Division; Andy Green Comments


Huntington Ingalls Industries (NYSE: HII) has appointed eight new executives to its technical solutions division that was formed in December following HII’s $380 million acquisition of Huntsville, Alabama-based government services contractor Camber Corp.

Andy Green, an executive vice president at HII and president of Technical Solutions, said in a statement released Wednesday that he will collaborate with the appointees to continue work on existing contracts and seek new business opportunities for the division.

Brad Mason, formerly president of HII’s AMSEC subsidiary, has been named president of Technical Solutions’ fleet support group.

HII’s technical solutions division also appointed Joe Reale, formerly senior vice president at Camber, as president of the integrated mission solutions group.

Michael Lempke, former VP of energy programs at HII’s Newport News Shipbuilding division, will serve as head of Technical Solutions’ nuclear and environmental group.

Tom Davison, formerly president of HII’s UniversalPegasus International subsidiary, has been appointed president of the division’s oil and gas group.

Billy Jahn, formerly chief financial officer and director of business management at AMSEC, will serve as CFO and VP of business management at HII’s technical solutions division.

The Newport News, Virginia-based military shipbuilder also named Kelly Carlan, former director of human resources at AMSEC, as VP of HR at Technical Solutions.

Nick Thomas, a 20-year HII veteran who oversees the integration of the company’s services subsidiaries, has been named VP for integration management office and business operations at Technical Solutions.

Christian Ortego, chief counsel at Newport News Shipbuilding, will serve in the same capacity at Technical Solutions.
