Chris Sorenson
Chris Sorenson, former chief operating officer of Triple Canopy and a 29-year U.S. Army veteran, has been appointed as interim COO of global logistics and stability services contractor Janus Global Operations.
He succeeds Alan Weakley, who left JGO after a three-year tenure, the company said Thursday.
“Sorenson has deep international experience leading companies and commanding U.S. Forces, giving him an exceptional background to help lead our team and work with our commercial and governmental clients,” said JGO President and CEO Matt Kaye.
The retired Army colonel previously worked as chief of staff at Constellis Group and president of ACADEMI.
Sorenson held various leadership roles in the Army Special Operations Command as well as joint staff assignments at two combatant commands.
He also served as a board member at National Strategic Protective Services and the National Defense Industry Association’s Special Operations and Low-Intensity Conflict division.
