Navy Selects General Dynamics to Create Acoustic Path Exploitation System

general dynamics logoTYSONS CORNER, VA, Nov. 1, 2016 — The U.S. Navy has awarded General Dynamics‘ (NYSE: GD) mission systems business an $18.9 million contract to support the design and development of an acoustic path exploitation system, ExecutiveBiz reported Monday.

The company will deliver, design and build the hardware of the Deep Reliable Acoustic Path Exploitation System with a set completion date of Oct. 27, 2020, under the contract, the Defense Department said Friday.
