TYSONS CORNER, VA, Sept. 6, 2016 — The corporate investment arm of Salesforce (NYSE: CRM) has provided funds to support Phase One Consulting Group‘s federal business particularly in the field of federal information technology, ExecutiveBiz reported Friday.

Phase One said Thursday Salesforce Ventures was one of the participating investors in the consulting company’s latest funding round as it seeks to support modernization efforts in federal IT.
