TYSONS CORNER, VA, Aug. 2, 2016 — Red Hat (NYSE: RHT) and Microsoft (Nasdaq: MSFT) have extended their partnership to support public sector clients to adopt Microsoft’s cloud computing technology through the former’s open-source software subscriptions, ExecutiveBiz reported Thursday.
Paul Smith, Red Hat public sector business senior vice president and general manager, wrote in a blog entry published Saturday that Red Hat’s cloud access program will help clients transfer their subscriptions to Azure and Azure Government.
