Diane Murray, a principal at Deloitte ConsultingÂ and an 18-year information technology consulting veteran, has been namedÂ leaderÂ of Deloitte‘s federal civilian sector.
She succeeds Dan Helfrich, who has taken a new role as head of the federal practice at the professionalÂ services company, Deloitte said Monday.
“[Murray] has the first-hand experience in helping civilian agencies get to the next level in customer-service platforms, back-office operations and more, “Â Helfrich said.
Murray previously served as lead principal for Deloitte’s programs with the Internal Revenue Service and the Defense Information Systems Agency as well as managed a team of professionals who have helped customer agencies carry outÂ high-impact programs.
Before she joined Deloitte in December 2007, she held a principal role at Booz Allen Hamilton (NYSE: BAH) for more than 11 years.
