Newport News Shipbuilding continues to make progress on the newest Ford-class carrier. Watch as shipbuilders complete the installation of the forward area of John F. Kennedys (CVN 79) main deck. With this superlift, 341 of 447 sections are currently in place, making the carrier 75 percent structurally complete.
