Razwan Raja, formerly founder and principal of XOR Security, has been appointed chief innovation officer at information technology services provider Agile Defense, an Enlightenment Capital portfolio company.
He will drive the company’s investment strategy and lead technical teams that develop digital transformation and cybersecurity products tailored to customers’ mission needs, Agile Defense said Tuesday.
Raja joined Agile Defense through its May 2023 acquisition of XOR Security as part of efforts to expand its cybersecurity product offerings for the defense and national security markets.
“Elevating Razwan into this role demonstrates how Agile Defense is intentionally focusing on how we can leverage our unique combination of technical talent and innovative capabilities to close mission gaps and retain our nation’s competitive advantage,” said Rick Wagner, CEO of Agile Defense and a previous Wash100 awardee.
